- Waveney Springs Art trail 2009
- Venue: The Stables Gallery Diss
- Start date: 9 September 2009
- End date: 11 September 2009

The exhibition and workshops held at The Stables Gallery in Diss were well received. There was great interest in the art and all the workshops were fully subscribed. These covered a variety of approaches, oil painting by Peter Knights, portraits by Jacqui Petrie, imaginative landscape by Becky Whatley, drawing by Dave Sumner and hand held sculpture by Liz Waugh McManus. It was extremely pleasing to see so many people having enjoyed creating their own works of art and the members of Waveney Springs are delighted to have been a source of inspiration.
The Art Trail followed the exhibition and as with the workshops it was a pleasure for the artists to show members of the public around their studios and explain their various approaches to their art.
Redgrave & Lopham Fen Exhibition ‘Source of Inspiration’
Our Exhibition, Easter 2009, at Redgrave and Lopham Fen visitors centre was a huge success. It was opened by Richard Mabey and we had an average of 130 visitors every day. We had fantastic feed back and sales too! The workshops also managed to draw in other people and helped to raise the profile of Waveney springs.
